Angel Cat Herald Carving

Several years ago I found a broken herald wood carving in the barn. This inspired me into a crafty mood. I hunted around for my tool box and pulled out a saw and a file. With a little reworked the wood carving morphed into a cat herald, trumpeting in a joyful new day. I then stored it away under newspaper padding for other Christmas ornaments. Over time this carving faded into a forgotten memory. Until this year when we dug a little deeper into the ornament box and what joy we had as we fondly hung it in a place of honor next, on the wall next to the Christmas tree for all to see.
