I had the pleasure and honor of painting Gracie. She was a joy to paint. This diminutive grey cat had the most beautiful green eyes! I changed her pose from the reference photos so that the cat could be staring out at the viewer. Her human mom told me that her kitty always wore a pink collar, so I painted the roses in the background to go along. The pink background also brings out the cat’s amazing green eyes even more.
