Dailypainter in acrylic on 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" cold press paper
This orange tabby Vampire Cat was one of a series of Halloween artist trading cards and ACEOs that I painted several years ago. Besides a few touch-ups, I redrew the vampire's fangs... they just weren't impressive enough before.
Bram Stoker's Dracula wasn't the first vampire story published: the original was The Vampyre by John William Polidori. Polidori's vampire's "eyes sparkled with more fire than that of a cat whilst dallying with the half-dead mouse."
